Usage method:

Hold the middle part of the instrument and gently place the hardness tester on the plane sample (or test piece) larger than the presser foot. When the presser foot of the hardness tester contacts the sample smoothly, it will read within 1 second. At this time, the scale indicated by the pointer is the hardness value of the tested sample (test piece). In order to improve the measurement accuracy, the sample shall be placed on a flat glass or flat plate. Each measurement point shall be measured only once, and the measurement points at different parts more than 25mm apart on the same sample shall not be less than 5 points. The average value of the measurement results is the hardness value of the sample material.

Matters needing attention:

When the presser foot of the hardness tester is in the free state, the pointer displays "0", the end face of the presser needle is in close contact with the plane of the presser foot on the glass plate, and the pointer displays "100". If the pointer of the hardness tester cannot display "0" and "100" during inspection, it can be used only when it needs to be adjusted to "0" and "100".

Sample and adjustment:

·The thickness of the sample shall be between 25mm and 30mm: when the thickness is less than 25mm, two pieces can be overlapped, but the contact surface shall be smooth and flat, and the total thickness shall still meet the requirements of the sample thickness.

·The size of the sample shall meet the requirements that the length and width shall be greater than 100mm, the distance between the measuring point and the edge of the sample shall not be less than 40mm, the distance between each measuring point shall not be less than 25mm, and the measuring point of each sample shall not be less than 5 points.

·Remove the epidermis on both sides of the sample, the thickness shall be uniform, the surface shall be flat, the micropores shall be evenly distributed, and there shall be no mechanical damage and impurities.

·The sample conditioning and test environmental conditions shall comply with the provisions of GB / t2941-91.

·After using the hardness tester, put it into the instrument box and place it in a dry place to prevent moisture.
